This company was incorporated in September 1985; it is the parent company, which laid the foundation of this successful professional group. It now has a number of poultry breeding farms and hatcheries to produce day old broiler chicks. In Pakistan it has been the pioneer in introducing most modern environmentally controlled poultry houses for the parent flock. Day old chicks produced by Big Bird are considered to be the mark of quality. It has also made a name in the export market by exporting hatching eggs and day old chicks.
The company led the way in the exports of hatching eggs from Pakistan to Middle East, South East Asia and Far East, and, has established its name in the international market by maintaining the good standards of its products. In recognition of its outstanding performance in the export of broiler hatching eggs, the Company was awarded 25th & 26th. FPCCI’s Export Merit Trophy in the year 2002 and 2003 by the President and the Prime Minister of Pakistan respectively. Big Bird Poultry Breeders (Pvt.)
